This policy transparently explains how HAG's website and portal use cookies and equivalent technologies, in line with Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and the guidance of the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).
Cookies are small files stored in your browser when you visit a site. They allow, for example, keeping you authenticated while browsing, remembering preferences and protecting forms against fraud. Equivalent technologies include browser local-storage items used for the same technical purpose.
HAG's public pages do not use tracking, advertising or behavioral-analytics cookies, nor third-party tools such as Google Analytics, social-network pixels or third-party maps. We only use cookies strictly necessary for the site to work and stay secure, plus an optional visual-theme preference stored locally in your own browser.
sessionid — a session cookie that keeps the user authenticated in the portal; it is essential and expires when the session ends or after the configured inactivity period. csrftoken — a security cookie that protects forms against request forgery (CSRF); it is essential. hag_cookie_notice — records that you have already seen the cookie notice, so it isn't shown repeatedly; it is functional and does not identify you, valid for about twelve months. Theme preference (light/dark) — stored as local storage in your browser and not sent to our servers.
Strictly necessary and functional cookies are processed on the basis of legitimate interest and the performance of a contract or preliminary procedures, under the LGPD, as they are indispensable to deliver the requested service, authenticate access and ensure security. Since there are no tracking, advertising or analytics cookies, we do not depend on your consent to browse; should we adopt non-essential cookies in the future, we will request prior, specific and prominent consent, with a refusal option as simple as acceptance.
You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. Removing strictly necessary cookies may, however, prevent authentication and proper use of the portal. Since we don't use non-essential cookies, there are no optional categories to disable at this time.
Inside the portal, after login, some technical screens (such as base maps) may load resources from external providers for specific features. This processing occurs in the context of providing the contracted service and is described in the Privacy Notice, which this policy is part of.
This policy may be updated to reflect technical, legal or service changes; the current version is always the one published on this page. Questions or requests related to cookies and data protection may be sent to contato@hag.ag.
